Richard D. Titus
President
Named one of the Wired 100 in 2010, serial entrepreneur and executive, "Titus", has a passion for technology and innovation. He has co-founded many firms over his career including leading digital agencies Razorfish & Schematic and mobile commerce start-up Prompt.ly - sold to Breezeworks in 2016, his fifth exit in a row. He has served on numerous boards of directors including the Producers Guild, video advertising platform Videoplaza, recruitment portal Jobsite, and iTV platform Teletext.
Until February of 2017, Richard led customer experience for Samsung Electronics (CE / Visual Display division). While there, he served as the group leader for the global user experience and design teams in addition to US-based product planning and new product development functions for all Consumer Electronics. The group won numerous awards including CES innovation award.
Titus split his time in 2017-2018 between Transform Group, where he is President of the operating company and working in emerging technology, blockchain and work as a coach, mentor, and advisor to several early-stage technology firms; both individually and as a mentor at the Creative Destruction Lab. His areas of focus are AI, Robotics, Blockchain, Clean Tech and Smart Cities.
Richard previously held senior leadership roles at the British Broadcasting Corporation (Future Media Controller) where he launched iPlayer and the BBC mobile service. Subsequently, he served as CEO of Associated Northcliffe Digital the digital holding company of DMGT (owner of the Daily Mail) leading a ~£120m GBP portfolio of classified and publishing assets.
Richard's attention has consistently focused on the crossroads of entertainment and technology. He has produced video games, award-winning feature film and television projects (including multiple Emmy awards and two Sundance Festival selections) and is known for Producing the documentary hit "Who Killed The Electric Car?"
Titus currently resides in San Francisco with his lover and three children.
